The LGBTQIA+ Advisory Committee to the New York City Police Commissioner is an independent volunteer group of nearly twenty (20) LGBTQIA+ community leaders. We serve as a vital bridge between the community and the New York City Police Department (NYPD). Additionally, we provide expert guidance to ensure that New York City’s policing is rooted in respect, equity, and the protection of all individuals.

We aren't just advisors; we are advocates. By leveraging our collective voice, we push for policies that promote justice and safeguard the well-being of every LGBTQIA+ New Yorker.
